Blackdot are a sales consultancy business, specialising in improving the performance of predominantly B2B sales people in medium to large organisations. Three quarters of their revenue comes from traditional face to face training and consultancy, but they’ve built a new revenue stream around an automated performance management tool they call the SEP, or Sales Enablement Platform. 

The days of delivering skill development and driving behaviour change through traditional workshop based learning events is fast becoming a thing of the past. The SEP is an industry-leading disruptive play that challenges organisations to think more innovatively about the way they build sales capability to drive material change across their sales force and improve bottom-line performance.

The reimagined Blackdot Sales Enablement Platform delivered new functionality and a dramatically refreshed user interface to provide a cutting edge product. Our work has laid the foundations to future-proof the platform, underpinning current and future revenue models.

The re-design refreshed and cemented Blackdot’s automated intelligence as a true market differentiator, and drove significant business development. The new design delivered clear, contextual interface design and distinct value propositions for sales managers and sales staff, ensuring the right information is surfaced at the right time for the right audience.

The pocket mentor supported sales staff with enough utility, training and tools to ensure it represents value beyond the data that’s surfaced for sales managers. It stimulated user generated content (UCG) and shift user behaviour from process-driven to proactive and engaged. The revamp also dramatically increase global SEP awareness, lead generation and demand.
