Vic’s Meat Market is all about the raw experience. It’s packed with the freshest, best quality meat in Australia. Their range is massive, from chicken to grass-fed steaks and wild boar, plus a range of specially selected products to make your meat even better.
The current Vic’s Meat digital ecosystem was very old and consequently lacked many of the functions now expected in contemporary websites. It also lacked a CMS, which meant updates could only be made via the original designer. This resulted in outdated content and no option to ‘freshen’ or add new information.
One of the biggest problems Vic’s Meat had was to encourage and show technophobes chefs the benefits of using an online ordering system. Converting a traditional chef behaviour i.e ordering via archaic telephone messaging system was going to be a a very hard challenge.
Another problem was once they made an order there was no way to tell where or when the order will arrive or not. This caused huge problems with its customers as they got irritated when they weren't notified about their order.
So we wanted the new Vic’s Meats digital ecosystem to showcase all the amazing meats products, recipes and more; we wanted to tell a story of passion, incredibly hard work and relentless quality. There’s online ordering for key events like Christmas and Father’s Day, chef recipes, track all your orders automatically, monitor the progress of all your online purchases, get push notifications on your meat order’s progress, save money with alerts on price drops and a fantastic cook along guide of the many different cuts of meat available from Vic’s Meats. We also in the process of creating a fridge magnet that notifies your kitchen staff on when your meat order will arrive!
